There’s no cure for acne.

Now, I’m not agreeing the all the dermatologists out there who think that there really is no cure. What simply mean is that you’re looking at your acne problem in the wrong way. There is no one thing that will cure your breakouts.

How’s that? Well everyone these days is looking for that one cream or that magic pill that they can put on their face or swallow and that will get rid of their acne. Sorry to say but this simply won’t happen, despite what any “expert” or product may claim.

The reason is that acne is caused by a multitude of reasons in people that range from genetics to general health. For example, you break out all the time when you eat pizza but your friend never has a single breakout and they eat all the junk food they want. You assume that diet has no link on acne.

Well, that is a wrong assumption and it’s one that people across the world have been operating under for years because of the awful information that keeps getting spouted off by misinformed “experts.” The simple fact of that matter is that diet can and does play a large role in acne. The friend who eats junk food may not get acne, but he might have terrible headaches all the time or he might call out sick a lot because his immune system isn’t up to snuff anymore. We all are individuals who react differently.

However on the other side of the coin, some people eat very strict diets and worry about falling off the wagon, yet they still have breakouts and they also incorrectly assume that diet has no part in breakouts. What their problem is is that there only focused on one aspect of acne. You can’t expect to get clear if you have terrible sleep habits and have a negative out look on life, even if you eat a great diet consisting of only spinach and apples and exercise 6 times a week.

So when I say there’s no cure for acne, I mean there’s no single thing you can do to get clear. You have to undo years of damage that have been done because of all the junk we eat, because of our bad sleep habits, because we don’t exercise, and because we don’t think positively. You have to look at the aspect that needs the most work for you and fix that, then move on to the next one.

By focusing on this and not focusing on your acne problems, you’ll find that your acne will clear away by itself almost as if by acne. There’s no cure for acne; you have to make your own cure that works for you.
